ANALOG DIGITAL HYBRID (ADH®)

Devialet's founding invention, Analog Digital Hybrid or ADH® is a groundbreaking technology that changes the way you experience sound. By blending all the sophistication of Class A analog with all the power and compactness of Class D digital technology.

Introducing the audio equivalent to driver assist. The analog amplifier generates optimal resistance load, while four digital amplifiers generate Phantom’s incomparable power.

ACTIVE COSPHERICAL ENGINE (ACE)

ACE refers to Phantom’s uniquely cospherical conception. Inspired by Olson’s pulsating sphere principle. The ideal acoustic form.

Picture the ripple created when a stone skims the water. Sound travels through space in much the same way: concentrically. The sphere therefore represents the ideal shape for forming and spreading sound waves. Evenly and in all directions.

Inspired by the laws of acoustics, Phantom’s functional design guarantees beautifully balanced, multi-dimensional sound distribution with zero surface diffraction. Whatever the angle.

SPEAKER ACTIVE MATCHING (SAM®)

SAM® processes the sound signal, enabling Phantom to precisely match the conditions of the original recording. So its loudspeakers can reproduce the exact same sound pressure level as your music source.

That’s the whole point of speakers: to imitate air movement generated by the source and captured in sound waves by microphones during the recording process. There’s just one catch: each speaker has its own unique specs that mechanically alter sound during the final stage of playback.

HEART BASS IMPLOSION (HBI®)

To build the ultimate audio experience capable of revealing the full shock impact of music with ultra-compact design, Devialet engineering team invented a new technology: Heart Bass Implosion or HBI®. Phantom’s acoustic architecture pushes compactness and efficiency to new limits. HBI® takes you to the deepest bass ever reached for a system of this size.

PRESSURE BALANCE ARCHITECTURE (PBA®)

Devialet invented an acoustic architecture of cascading decompression chambers that ensure ideal pressure inside your ear, at all times.

Each chamber is coated with custom acoustic mesh that proactively stops external noise from entering the system, ensuring effective Active Noise Cancellation. The result is an intimate listening experience with unspoiled sound.

INTERNAL DELAY COMPENSATION (IDC®)

Our patented algorithm perfectly compensates for the internal delay generated by a noise cancellation loop. The result: a significant gain in noise cancellation, especially at higher frequencies.

EAR ACTIVE MATCHING (EAM®)

Devialet Gemini owes its superior sound quality to a proprietary Ear Active Matching (EAM®) algorithm. The algorithm instantaneously captures the specific ear canal of the listener and automatically tailors the signal to the ear up to 10,000 times per second, ensuring a fully immersive and intimate listening experience.
